The Canadian Golf Foundation Academic Scholarship Program

If you’ve played a few rounds and are headed for college or university, you may get to take a swing at some cash to get you there.

Name: The Canadian Golf Foundation Academic Scholarship Program

Eligibility: Offered to Canadian citizens who are pursuing full-time studies
at a post-secondary school in Canada or abroad. Candidates must have an A average (75% or higher) in each of the last two years of high school. Also, eligible applicants must have a high school diploma (minimum grade 12), and have received a first division standing (75%) in each year completed of a college or university program.

Criterion: Preference is given to students who have experience in competitive golf at a regional, provincial and national level and who have participated regularly in community and/or extracurricular activities.

Amount: Varies

Deadline: June 30, 2001
